ARM Cortex-A, -R, -M Optimized Code Generation using MATLAB and Simulink

Tom Erkkinen, MathWorks

In release R2014b, Embedded Coder generates optimized code for ARM Cortex-A, -R, -M series of processors using NEON Ne10 and CMSIS DSP libraries.

How this benefits you:
Embedded Coder lets you automatically convert DSP and controls algorithms designed in MATLAB and Simulink into C code optimized for ARM cores, including Cortex-A, -R, -M. You can now reap the benefits of Model-Based Design while maintaining fast code performance.

Highlights of the webinar include:

  • Embedded algorithm design using fixed-point and floating-point data
  • Code generation for ARM cores using Ne10 and CMSIS libraries
  • Processor-in-the-loop code verification with numerical result comparison and execution profiling
  • Automated build, integration, and execution with BeagleBone Black Support Package (Cortex-A)
