Our goal is to build innovative investment strategies that help our clients achieve their investment goals; data-driven, evidence-based methods to try to find persistent robust sources of returns. We use a variety of machine learning technologies to try to look through history, identify patterns, and use that to predict what's going to happen in financial markets.

It's hard because financial markets are very complex. There's a whole host of factors that influence how a particular asset class will perform over any time horizon. And that complexity necessitates complex models to analyze them.

None of this is possible without high-performance computing. The sophistication of the algorithms, just storing the data, necessitates HPC. And for us, especially, that's where MATLAB comes in to help us accelerate that.
