DYNA4 is modular software for efficient management of Simulink models in the development process of automotive electronic control units and components. It enables seamless integration with Simulink simulation models, which users can combine with TESIS DYNAware's proven real-time model library. The framework can be adapted to existing work processes to obtain an efficient overall solution tailored to users' requirements. A key feature is the management of simulation projects, including models, model data, and simulation results, providing traceability and reproducibility.

The DYNA4 Model Repository allows users to administrate and parameterize their simulation models via comfortable user interfaces. Users can load the Model Repository with their own models or use the TESIS DYNAware simulation models, called DYNA4 Elements. DYNA4 Elements are proven Simulink reference models for a wide range of applications, including vehicle dynamics, hydraulics, electrics, drive train, truck extensions, engine models, and environmental). Transparent signal flow via extensions to the Simulink bus enhances the usability of Simulink models through the open and modular model architecture in MATLAB® and Simulink. DYNA4 also provides an interface to Simulink for user-defined model extensions and integration of control functions.  An integrated scripting mechanism provides a MATLAB interface, allowing users to improve simulation efficiency through automated simulation control, model parameterization, parameter variation, result analysis, and report generation.

Supported development areas include vehicle dynamics and drivetrain concepts, engine design and control, advanced powertrain development and energy management, control systems in commercial vehicles, and driver assistance systems.
