Hello everyone, I'm a part-time student, carpenter (pick up/framing), speak English, decent Spanish, little bit of Danish, MATLAB, TI-Basic, and Fortran. I like Starbucks coffee, mountain biking (in the city or out in the sticks), writing mfiles, and I have an A.S. Civil Engineering Technology degree from Allan Hancock College.

It's because your trying to convert a symbolic variable into a double precision number.
