This Soft Real-Time Toolbox provides MATLAB functions and a Simulink block which enables users to implement algorithms at Soft Real-Time on a desktop computer. The ability to execute algorithms at Soft Real-Time is important for Robotics, as it allows the user to use temporal logic and time-based algorithms.
The functions and block are supported for direct execution of MATLAB functions and Simulink models.
The functions and block are also supported for code generation, so that MATLAB functions and Simulink models can be converted to mex files or executables which execute at Soft Real-Time.
