Nice little demo - I got 2.51 rpm with my Dell Inspiron B130 with 1.5 GHz and 1.24 GB RAM Win XP Home SP2 running Matlab R2007a and using the Mobile Intel 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express video card chipset.
I attained 2.92 rpms on my Dell Laptop duo core T2050 @1.60 GHz, 1GB RAM, ATI X1300 mobility graphics
great little comparison tool. I got 2.4 rpms on my apple macbook pro (2GB mem, 2.2Ghz) running vista and matlab 7.5.0.
Cristian, it appears that you tried to cut and paste the innards of this function and run them as a script. This function has subfunctions, so you have to use the more customary approach of downloading the whole m-file and then calling the m-file from the command line.
