Cup of Water Heating
Version 1.0.1 (3.94 KB) by
Kim
PDE toolbox solution for water with uniform heat generation in cylindrical coordinates.
This program is used to simulate heating of a cup of water in a microwave. The solution is obtained both for Cartesian and cylindrical coordinates and compares the results to one dimensional and lumped capacitance models. The results demonstrate the amount of error that would result from using these simplified models.
