The elevator consists of four floors which can be easily extended into 5, 6, or so on. It basically executes based on five different states in a simple state machine:
+ Idle: resting state. From that, the elevator can go up, down, door and emergency states. Two main conditions for the transitions between those states are: the door is opening/not opening and the elevator is moving/not moving.

+ The run main function is a timer function where the period is 0.03s (assuming that 30 frames/second is obtained for the smoothly moving objects, it can be slightly varied depends on the power of the computer).

+ The request of the floor can not be updated when the elevator is in Idle state and the pressing button is related to the current floor (cabin floor).
