As far as we know, it is the most realistic and complete SH simulator on the web. It can be even used for preliminarily design new devices.
It includes:
- User-defined options for: resolution of CCD, pixel size, wavelength, number of microlenses, focal length of ML, bits, aberrations for ML itself, magnitude of the object, pupil diameter, exposure time, bandwith, quantum efficiency and well capacity of CCD, read Noise, dark current...
- Available options: propagation between microlenses and CCD, 3 different geometry for ML, 5 different methods for centroid calculation, crosstalking between ML, Seidel distortions, vignetting of ML, photon noise...
All information is in the readme file.
