This code is designed to visualize the vertical structure of underwater temperature data. This code was specifically designed to be used with data collected using the Lake Michigan Buoy owned and operated by Purdue University and Illinois-Indiana SeaGrant (NDBC Station 45170). You are given the option to save the animation as a .gif image.
Temperature (TEMP), measurement times (DOY), and measurement depths(DEPTH) are the only required inputs. All other inputs are used to change the appearance of the final animation (with defaults that are based on NDBC Station 45170 data).
