Mosaicator
The Mosaicator is a graphical user interface to create a funky, artsy mosaic from a picture. The mosaic of the image can be regular in shape (honeycomb or square grid) or random (using voronoi tesselation). Interactively selected regions in the image can be highlighted in more detail by increasing the tile density in those regions. The average color of each tile is calculated to create a new image, which can be exported in various file formats. (export_fig from MATLAB Exchange is required for exporting.)
