Paleo-Seawater Uncertainty Solver
This code accepts foraminiferal Mg/Ca and δ¹⁸O measurements as input and uses a bootstrap Monte Carlo procedure to solve for seawater δ¹⁸O & temperature and also provides estimates of propagated uncertainty. For more information read the reference below.
Features:
- It can handle the influence of salinity on Mg/Ca variability
- Users can easily modify δ¹⁸O-Salinity-Temperature equations depending on local relationships
- Users have the ability to modify analytical uncertainty considerations
- It has four in-built sea-level(/ice-volume) curve correction options up till ~800 kyrs

---|---|---|---|
2.1.1 | This update fixes several minor errors and includes a new "fixed temperature" version of PSU Solver that calculates δ¹⁸O-seawater, salinity, and uncertainty from foraminiferal-δ¹⁸O and an independent temperature estimate (alkenone, Tex86 etc.) |
|
|
2.0 | This is the second version of PSU Solver, which simplifies the input/output procedure and runs faster than the first version. |
