Produce and display a multi-resolution spectrogram

This function is a coarse implementation of the multi-resolution FFT algorithm proposed by K. Dressler conference paper titled "Sinusoidal extraction using an efficient implementation of a multi-resolution FFT." It is meant as a computationally efficient spectral processing tool for music analysis, providing higher frequency resolution in the lower frequencies versus a constant resolution via STFT.
