This set of functions allows you to create coder and decoder for rank metric error-correcting codes of different size and correcting capability. For more information about this type of error-correcting codes see, for example https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rank_error-correcting_code
Nowadays rank-metric codes are widely used for error correction in subspace network codes. My set of functions allows to correct both rank errors and two type of rank erasures, so it may be helpful for network coding simulation.
