FPGA Based Imtophat Morphological Operation Implementation using HDL coder
In this submission a basic morphological operation called Imtophat has been implemented using HDL coder. The algorithm used for the Imtohat morphological operation is to subtract a morphologically opened image from the original image. This operation can be used to enhance the contrast in an image. The design has been successfully synthesized and simulated using Xilinx ISE 14.2 and ModelSim10.0C.
