This is an archived Simulink Project for modeling the Hyperloop transportation concept. The architecture of the model is designed to promote collaborative development. The main systems of the concept are included as Subsystem Variants, linked to library models. Users are encouraged to submit their own variants as library files and acknowledge this submission. Such submissions will be incorporated into this architecture.
This model can currently be used to analyze or modify aspects of the design, such as (1) chassis dynamics, (2) power consumption at the vehicle battery and grid and (3) thermal dynamics and water consumption of the compressor system.
Open the project from the Home tab in MATLAB using New > Simulink Project > From Archive. This should automatically configure and open the model, which should be ready to Run. When simulation is complete, an interactive plot of the route and vehicle dynamics data is shown. Users are encouraged to explore other aspects of the simulation through creating their own plotting scripts or using the Data Inspector.
This model uses R2013b and only requires MATLAB and Simulink licenses. Additional functionality is automatically added during initialization if the user has Stateflow and/or Simscape and SimMechanics licenses. Please contact the author if you would like a version of the model in an earlier release.
