This tool automatically calculates critical and optimal flow rate for continuous microbial cultivation experiments. Needed parameters include K_S, inoculum concentration, biomass and product yield Y_X/S and Y_P/X and also maximum growth rate.
After filling in the parameters and running the simulation, you can find the critical and optimal flow rate in the results panel. By looking at the graphs you will also be able to find out if and when stationary cultivation phase will be reached.
