Before seeing plot of default functions you have to select default range first. you cant set range for default functions. and if you want to write user defined function you have to set range first. then if you want to see differentiation or integration of the function click on the respective buttons and wait for the results. every time you have to clear axes in the menu bar to see new user defined function plots or it will overwrite on the axes.
