Normal Tissue Complication Probability
This could be used to investigate the relationship of bladder dose and volume factors influencing late urinary toxicity after external beam radiotherapy for prostate cancer. THis is based on our apper: Cheung MR, Tucker SL, Dong L, de Crevoisier R, Lee AK, Frank S, Kudchadker RJ, Thames H, Mohan R, Kuban D. Int J Radiat Oncol Biol Phys. 2007 Mar 15;67(4):1059-65. Epub 2007 Jan 22.
This program extracts the DVHs from individual Excel files, each file has one DVH, then combine them into one file. Note the columns in each Excel needs to be named as bladderdvhx.xls,
x= 1, 2, 3 etc. Each Excel file should have variables named as: Gy, dDVH(d=differential), cGy, cDVHabsolute(c=cumulative),DVHpercent, Di(size of dose bin). Loop through the directory with N (no of patients). Excel files then combine the data. The probability was calculated using log-likely method. Data will then be saved into an Excel file.
