explore

Open a file/function/directory in your operating system's native file browser.

Sometimes the native file browser is more convenient than Matlab's file browser. This simple command line tool helps jumping to a specific directory, file or function.

Usage examples:

explore std
explore some/directory
explore
explore(where('mean'))

Works with Windows, Mac and Linux. For Linux users: Currently explore calls tries to call Konqueror, but other file browsers may be easily configured.
