File contains the design of a digital over current relay block (Directional and Non Directional) – a key component of any protection scheme – and its performance on SIMULINK®. A 400V industrial distribution power system is used as a tutorial to simulate and test over-current relay’s performance results, with motor start up inrush current consideration and backup relay coordination for safe and reliable operation. Similarly, a 132kV loop network is used as tutorial to simulate and test the directional over-current relay’s performance.

This is authorized work. Any modification in simulation need citation of work or prior permission from author.
