Neuron and Nerve Electrical Stimulation Environment
This MATLAB app provides an interactive environment for exploring how action potentials form and propagate in unmyelinated neurons and nerves. Designed for educational use, it allows users to adjust neuron parameters, apply stimuli, and visualise AP behaviour.
Key Simulations:
- Single-neuron, space clamped action potentials (Hodgkin-Huxley model).
- Action potential propagation along an axon (Cable Theory).
- Compound action potentials in nerves.
