The effect of a continuous wave (CW) jammer on radar detection is simulated, based on the radar range equation and the basic jamming equation. Variables that can be adjusted are the antenna patterns, powers, and radar system parameters (frequency, pulsewidth, noise temperatures, bandwidth, etc.). The effect of single bounce multipath can be included. Originally created with early pre-GUI versions of Matlab, but a GUI has been added and tested in Matlab 2023.
