This function gives the EEG cordance for chosen frequency bands are different electrode locations. The default frequency band is the theta band (4 - 8Hz). The user needs to give the input signals in a matrix with the channels arranged in columns in case of multiple channels, else a column array also works. User also has to give the sampling frequency as input.
The function returns the cordance magnitudes of the chosen frequency bands for the channels given as input. The cordance value is positive or negative if the frequency band is concordant or discordant at that location respectively.
Code is based on methodology from: Leuchter AF, Cook IA, Lufkin RB, et al. Cordance: a new method for assessment of cerebral perfusion and metabolism using quantitative electroencephalography. Neuroimage. 1994 Jun;1(3):208-219. DOI: 10.1006/nimg.1994.1006. PMID: 9343572.
