Use of Image Filters and Triangulation for Image Manipulation

The borderline between image processing and image manipulation is hazy - and sometimes rather artistic results are achieved. This I believe is the case here. A RGB image was converted to grayscale, exposed to a Laplace filtering process, histogram equalization, and subsequent trisurface for visualisation. The colormap Jet is standard - the standard Figure cameramenu was used to adjust lighting and camera position.
