Does executing multiple copies of a MATLAB Compiler-generated stand-alone application lead to performance degradation?

I have a MATLAB Compiler-generated standalone application, deployed to a machine that does not have MATLAB installed on it. Since each instance of the application will load the MATLAB Compiler Runtime (MCR) which is single-threaded, I was wondering if this would slow down all applications.

There is no locking and no shared state between applications when using the MATLAB Compiler Runtime (MCR). Because of this, executing several copies of the same application will not decrease performance any more than executing several sessions of MATLAB at the same time, provided there are no issues with memory or disk space.
