Why do I see "Invalid license key (inconsistent authentication code)" in the Network License Manager's log file?

You are seeing this error because the Host ID tied to the product in your license does not match the Host ID that the Network License Manager recognizes from your computer. Host IDs can either be a MAC address or IP address.
To determine the Host ID that the Network License Manager recognizes from your computer, in the log file, look for the section with the header "=== Host Info ===". Make sure that the products in your license are generated with a recognized Host ID.
To generate a new license file, click the link below and follow the directions from the section reading "Step 1. Download License File".
Install License Manager on License Server
If you are using a redundant/triad server, your license file must reflect that it is tied to 3 different Host IDs. To generate a license file for this setup, click the link below and follow the directions from "Section 3: Generating the License File".
