Edit --> Copy figure in Matlab2010b on Ubuntu?

Hi to everyone!

this is my first post and my question may be probably boring...

On windows,I used to copy a figure to clipboard using Edit-->Copy figure to paste it on e.g. MS Office.

Recently, I switched to Ubuntu 13.04 + Matlab2012b and I'm not able to find out this option.

I've got the same problem with ubuntu 14.04... the same question has been posted several times and no answers from mathworks.
