Hello,
The image below shows a regular paper surface. I want to use Fourier transform to find out the frequency components which are responsible for the texture on the surface. After i need to remove them to have a smooth surface without texture.could somebody help me please?

I just saw this. You can do this graphically, using some software such as FTL-SE (google it), which basically gives you a FFT of an image and you have some filters to play with. If you apply a low pas filter and adjust the radius of the filter you can get the surface to be smooth. The same idea applies otherwise.
A screenshot is below. The top is without filters, the bottom is with a low pass filter.
