Does Matlab provide temporal classifiers?

Could you elaborate or maybe give an example of what you are looking for? MATLAB has a number of classifiers, with more information it would be easier to see if one of them can cater to your application.

Yup.
Is an example of classifiers of what I am looking for. More specifically it differs from the more used classifiers in that the observations are not seen as static but as evolving over time. I don't know if I have rights to copy and paste the introduction of the work, but the Introduction and Abstract pretty much distinguish it from SVM, trees, etc!
