Effective Text-dependent Speaker Recognition

I want to create speech modules using MATLAB for effective text-dependent speaker recognition. Can you explain how can I do it? Using LPC & GMM models?
LPCC-Linear Predictive Cepstral Coefficient
GMM-Gaussian Mixture Models
