Saving txt file in GUI

Could you please help me.

I created the push button in GUI application with which I wanted to save current data vector or matrix (let's say X) as a text file.

I would like to open dialog box, be able to create file (or update existing), add name of the file and save it as txt.

Is it possible?

I tried with uiputfile, but it cannot create new file.

Yes, the documentation also states that, it returns the name of the file, but does not create it. You need to create the file yourself. Checked the demo app attached to this answer.
