What is the meaning of E in state space represenation of dynamical system

Converting from transsfer function to state space represenation give 5 matrix ABCDE. What is represented by E?

Hi,
If you are using tf2ss to convert the transfer function to State space model then it will not return the E matrix. That form is only represented through dss in which the state space model contains all the matrices to represent interdependency between gradient of state variables. You may follow this for detailed explanation.
