Does "control desk" mean "Control Panel" of Windows? We can help only if you supply more information. Otherwise you can call the Mathworks with all installation/deinstallation issues. They will help you for free.

If you are using windows
  • control panel
  • programmes and features
  • select Matlab then uninstall
It will remains some files in the folder where Matlab is installed, remove them manually

Why did it fail? Were you able to run the uninstaller? If so, did it remove any files at all? Be aware that, just like with any uninstaller, if you have added files to a folder, that folder will not get completely removed (the files you added will remain there), and if you altered any original files, they will also remain. So at this point we need you to elaborate on exactly what "I failed to remove" means.
