In Matlab 2020a, how do I keep the editor tab in the same window?

Is there a setting to prevent the editor tab from opening in a new window when I click on a script? I would prefer it to sit above the command window frame as in previous versions. Seems as if I'm missing something obvious here.

This is called 'docking' and can be fixed by clicking on the icon below the X in the upper right hand corner of the window - a small circle with a downward-pointing triangle. Next, select, the bottom option, 'Dock All in Editor'.

Open the new script, I suppose it would open in a new window. Then click on the circular arrow that is situated just next to the small circle with a downward-pointing triangle at the upper right corner of the window.
