PX4 support to run in SIL mode. Support for new targets and latest FW versions.

Is there any possibility for PX4 support toolbox to generate code and run on PC harware like in SIL mode? PX4 has a great posibility to run on POSIX compatible systems like Linux. I would like to generate my sofware modules in MATLAB/Simulink with help from PX4 support package to communicate other uORB nodes and test in SIL simulation and deploy later on hw.

Also is it possible to add new hardware targets? Is this support package somehow hackable in that direction? Or offically supported targets is the only option?

Also is it possible to update the toolbox to support latest PX4 releases? Or one should wait until official support will be implemented?
