what kind of data is dA.mat in LargeSeismicData?

Hi, all:
I am working with LargeSeismicData for creating shot gathers and doing migrations. Who knows what kind of data is dA.mat in the migration folder? dA.mat is loaded in ray2d function that is for calculating traveling time of velocity modeling.
