Aquiring data with electricla circuit device from digilent

I am working on a project where i have to use digilent analog discovery 2 devices. I have to aquire some data from an oscillating device (digilent device 1), which gives me data for a damped oscillation, because of the springs attached to it. It is nice, because it is what i want. Now I have an electrical circuit (digilent device 2), where i can add a capacitor, an inductor and a resistor, which should create the same damped oscillation curve as the first device, but I can't get it to work. it will not get a damping of the oscillation.
