how to abtain a 3D image from a Voxel image file.dat

I'm trying to visualize a 3D MRI image of a head , i got a .dat fle (clearly more as a .txt when i open it ) could be also a binary file , it contains characters that looks like MRI scanning .
I need to obtain a 3D image of it and im kinda a newbie here ,someone can please help me?
image is int8 256x256x128 Voxels.
