Hello to everyone.
I'm trying to simulate an eletromechanical actuator in simscape driveline to verify of the performances of eletric motor and mechanical features are correct for the application.
Now my doubt is how to use a suitable load for the simulation: the necessity is to have a load that at 0 mm is 500N, and progressively decrease in space up to 10 N.
In your opinion which the suitable block to use or the most suitable solution?
Thanks!

you can use different simulink blocks
for e.g.
Sources: Signal Builder, Ramp, Signal generator, From File etc

Yes it's right, but all those are time-dependent. What i need is a force that is space-dependent.
Do you think that using a non linear spring imposing different stifnesses can be correct?

Nonlinear spring is the way to go if you want the force as a function of displacement.
