Matlabpool Error
Show older comments
Hi,
I am having problem starting the matlabpool on Matlab2010b (64 bits).
It gave me the following error when i execute ' matlabpool open 4':
Error using ==> matlabpool at 133
The interactive parallel job finished without any messages.
I am running the matlab on linux (64 bits) platform with (2 x Quad cores).
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?
Thanks n advance.

Have you tried validating the configuration? See here: http://www.mathworks.com/help/toolbox/distcomp/f5-16141.html#brrzq8d-1 for more. If that still doesn't help, I'd suggest contacting install support directly.

Hi Dwin, I recently had this problem and took me a while to find the problem and it was that in my network card there was an undesired filter activated. This filter is for my GiGe cameras and it is activated in my other network cards but it shouldn't have been activated on this one. Now that I have removed this everything is working fine so my guess is that in general is a connection problem, either firewall or hardware config.
