scanning through rows of a single column

Hi

Please I have a large data x with 200 rows and 1 column

I want to create a condition if statement that will do the following:

Scan through the each row to locate any number.

if the number is greater than B then stop and give alart

and if less than B to continue scanning

B can be any number
