How can we connect Li-ion battery cell in Simscape in parallel to measure thermal characteristics ?

I have studied and ran Li-ion battery Simscape model shown here. Now it has battery connected in series which shows thermal convection effects between adjacent battery cells. But I want to calculate internal resistance and thermal resistance of battery. For that a parallel connection structure is required. Can anyone help me to find any parallel battery model example or resource links for that ?

Hello Dhruv,
using simscape you can connect the battery cells in parallel instead of in series, or you could take the whole stack that is in series, copy and paste it, and then connect that in parallel with the other stack. I am not aware of any specific examples that show this but I believe you can edit the model to accomplish this on your own. However, thermal resistance and internal resistance exist regardless of how many battery cells there are or how they are connected.
Regards,
Joel
