How to show 24 image in one figure?

Each image is a result of looping and there are 4 type scale. Each 6 images is have same scale. I was search and have some try imshow or subplot or montage, but still nothing. At least i have output like this image, thats enough for me. Thanks.

montage() or imtile() won't work to put them in that arrangement because they're not in a regular grid. You'll have to build it yourself with determining the correct row and column location and then pasting. See attached demo.
