matlab already has an end licenced user for my licence I just bought, how?

I think the title is self explanatory whenever I try to put my licence on it says that it can't associate it with my email. it tells me that it is already associated with another account.

Based on the email address that is associated with the MathWorks Account you asked this question with, you are not associated to a license. Which raises my concern you did not purchase MATLAB from MathWorks, whoch again could be part of the problem.
