Question about Phased Array System Toolbox and its uses within companies

Hi Matlab, I'm a telecommunication engineering student and I need your help. Actually, I'm finishing my internship during witch we are simulating radar waves using phased array toolbox. My question is about how industries and companies use this toolbox to perform a case of simulation. For example, I'm using waves collected during the simulation to classify detected objects (cars, humain, tracks,...) using the SVM and the neural network tools provided by matlab. So does industries use generated data from simulation cases or they collect some "real" data using a radar kit?

How far can Phased Array Toolbox can simulate real radar cases? Can I collect some "real" data generated by this toolbox (multiple reflected signals from one vehicle along its surface) ?
