Anyone familiar with using MATLAB and OpenSim2.4?

I have 2 .m files and a .mdl file for an already established model. I want to run simulations on this model in OpenSim2.4 (simtk.org), but can't figure out how to either run simulations in MATLAB, or open the files in OpenSim.
