Retaining new lines from block descriptions in Simulink Report Generator

I am attempting to generate a Word report using the Simulink Report Generator tool, and as far as I can see, no matter whether I use the 'Code', 'HTML Text', 'Paragraph' with 'Text' or 'Preformatted' blocks, I cannot seem to generate new lines, even if I type directly into the text fields the following text:

Hello this is a test 

Here's a new line 

Here's another This should use \n for a new line 

This should user HTML <br/> for a new line 

This should use \cr\lf for a new line.

The result is always:

Hello this is a test Here's a new line Here's another This should use \n for a new line This should user HTML <br/> for a new line This should use \cr\lf for a new line.

within the word document.

The reason I'd like to achieve this is because I'm attempting to pull block descriptions through which use new lines to aid readability, and currently these are all stripped from the text.

Any ideas how I can fix this behaviour? Or perhaps I'm doing something incorrectly.
