- Start SolidWorks.
- In the Tools menu, select Add-Ins.
- In the Add-Ins dialog box, select the Simscape Multibody Link check box. A Simscape Multibody Link menu appears in the SolidWorks menu bar when you start or open a CAD assembly.
SimMechanics unable to integrate with solidworks

hey guys, i just installed SimMechanics on matlab 2016b but when i activate it with Solidworks 2017, it doesn't appear .. any help ? thanks in advance

There is a step you have to do within SOLIDWORKS for the plug-in to show up in the menu. It is described in the Simscape Multibody Link documentation: Enable Simscape Multibody Link SolidWorks Plug-In
Copied from the documentation:
If your computer has more than one SolidWorks installation, the smlink_linksw command adds the Simscape Multibody Link plug-in to all installations simultaneously. However, you must select the Simscape Multibody Link check box in the Add-Ins dialog box individually for each installation you want to export CAD from.
