Hi every one ...
I use 'wdencmp' to compress the image. Can any one tell me How to calculate the Compression rate? If you can give me Matlab code that would be wonderful...

Hi, if you are using wdencmp(), then use the optional output argument PERF0.
If you use wcompress(), use the output argument, CR

Thank you very much for your kindly replayed.
After we got the PERF0, ex 87.2337%.
How we can calculate back to find the real size of compressed image (xd) that need to store in the hard drive?
Ex. If the input image (X) size = 12 kb in .bmp format.
I ask you so many question because I confuse about real size of X, xd and recovery image Rc ..I try to use diary on and imwrite by .bmp format, but all X,xd and Rc have the same size...
Thank you in advance. and Please suggests.
